But only if you don’t need a hot shoe for a flash. ;-)

It’s still one of the biggest drawbacks of Leica M cameras if you shoot models / do portrait work.

Yes, hahaha, I realized that when I wanted to shoot flash!

Also - I just got Thypoch 21/3.5. I also picked up a Voightlander 21mm bright line viewfinder. I was on the fence about getting a VisoFlex yet since with the 21mm I don’t have to worry about critical focus (stop down and everything is in focus), I decided on the viewfinder to just assist with framing/composition.

That's interesting! Do you have an M10 or 11? I got my Viso for $250 on eBay, a bargain! I'm loving it so far and now it never leaves the bag. I like doing B&W SOOC and seeing things in black and white is so inspiring!

Just an FYI:

According to Leica’s official instruction manual and technical warnings, using the older Visoflex 020 on an M11 can—in the worst-case scenario—cause irreparable damage to the camera's electronics and/or the viewfinder

While the new Visoflex 2 can be used on older M10 cameras (with a firmware update), the older Visoflex 020 cannot be used on the newer M11.

Interestingly brutal, LOL. Both Visoflexes work, but I feel the Typ 020 (the one that the M10 prefers) feels more steardy and robust to me. I've used both. When I went to the Leica store in NY to test the Visoflex2, the screen was busted with dead lines!
