The night NY lit up in NY Knicks colors
They won their first title since 1973, on last Saturday, I took a Skyline photo. Prints available!
I knew the city would mark it the way it always does, dressing up the skyline for the occasion. So I grabbed my bike and rode down to the Hoboken waterfront.
And there it was. Blue and orange across the top of the buildings, as expected, the Empire State Building leading the line. The river caught all of it and threw it back in purple and orange, the Knicks colors.
I shot this on the Fujifilm GFX 100s. Tripod, long exposure, the water doing most of the work. 53 years of waiting, and the whole skyline knew it. I intentionally happened to be across the river with my camera!
