If you want to start, you can get a cheap camera (perhaps your family already have one?) and film, and ship me the film roll, I develop and scan it for you, so you don't have to deal with dev costs if you just wanna try! :)
I'm developing film for myself all the time and never hurts throwing an extra roll into the developing tank!

I’ve also been unsure about the whole film shipping part since I’m currently in the Philippines I feel like the process might be a bit much cost-wise. But I really appreciate your offer and how open you are to helping out! Definitely something I’ll keep in mind once I manage to get a camera!

I love the colors of the Fuji, although it’s no Superia. I still like it better than Ektar, which I’ve never been a huge fan of. It leans too red for me. My son and I are constantly having a debate over Ektar vs. Portra. He loves Ektar and hates Portra. He says Portra is too green. - Anyway, great work!
I’ve become a big fan of the humble Fuji 400! Whenever I find it on sale I’ll buy it in bulk 😂 I will forever miss Fuji Superia X-Tra, but this US made 400 feels to me like a Kodak film (Ultramax, Gold, something like that) doing an impression of Superia. Anyway, great shots!!
Love it I just bought some for $8.30 at B&H! If we sum that to the cost of developing it at home and a humble film camera, it's a very affordable hobby, actually cheaper than buying a full frame digital camera. Different animals, I know, but it's fun to see film being more affordable than digital!
